Viewing bank / cash account definition

This page allows you to view the bank / cash account definition. You can carry out the search using the code identifying the finance book, the bank/cash/PTT code and the account code. The system retrieves the account definition details based on the search criteria.

Select the “View Bank / Cash Account Definition” link at the bottom of the “Select Account Rule” page.

The “View Bank / Cash Account Definition” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Finance Book	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book. All the finance books mapped to the company, to which the login organization unit belongs, for which bank/cash account has already been defined, will be available for selection in the ascending order. The system displays the first finance book in the list by default on launch of the page.
Bank/Cash/PTT Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the bank / cash/ PTT. All the codes mapped to the selected finance book, defined in the “Bank Cash Definition” business component. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.
Account Code	The code identifying the bank / cash / PTT account (Alphanumeric, 32).
	Help facility available.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the account details.

The system displays the following in the “Account Definition Details” multiline:

Bank / Cash / PTT Code	The code identifying the bank/cash/PTT.
Desc.	The description pertaining to the bank/cash/PTT code.
Bank Cash Account Code	The code identifying the bank/cash account.
Desc.	The description pertaining to the bank cash account code.
Currency	The transaction currency of the bank account.
Bank / PTT Interim Account Code	The code identifying the interim account mapped to the Bank/PTT code.
Account Desc.	The description pertaining to the bank/PTT interim account.
Account Currency	The transaction currency of the bank/PTT interim account.
Bank Charges Account Code	The code identifying the bank charges account.
Desc.	The description pertaining to the bank charges account.
Currency	The transaction currency of the bank charges account.
Effective From Date	The date from which the bank / cash account definition details are effective.
Expiration Date	The date till which the bank / cash account definition details are effective.

Select the “View Trust Receipt Loan Account" link at the bottom of the page to View the Trust Receipt Loan Account for the bank code.

Note: This link would be visible only when the Trust Receipt applicability is set to Yes in Installation Parameter Setup component.

Select the “View Instruments Discounting Account" link at the bottom of the page to View the Instruments Discounting Account for the bank code.
