Select the “Edit Distance Master” link provided at the bottom of the “Select Distance Master” page
The “Edit Distance Master” page appears.
The system displays the following details in the header:
Source Type |
The type of source. The system displays either “DELIVERY POINT” or “ SHIPPING POINT”. If the source type is “SHIPPING POINT”, the system checks whether the shipping point is one among the Ous where packslip is installed and also checks for the existence of CIM mapping. If source type is “DELIVERY POINT”, the system checks to ensure that "Delivery Area code" exists and that it is in "Active" status.. |
Source Value |
The value of the source. The system throws an error if this field is left blank. |
Transportation Mode |
The type of destination. If the destination type is “SHIPPING POINT”, the system checks whether the shipping point is one among the Ous where packslip is installed and also checks for the existence of CIM mapping. If destination type is “DELIVERY POINT”, the system checks to ensure that "Delivery Area code" exists and that it is in "Active" status.. |

The mode of transportation. One of the following options,” AIR”, “ROAD” “RAIL” or “ SHIP” is displayed. The system throws an error if this field is left blank. |

Note: The system throws an error if both the source value and the destination value are the same in the case where both the source type and the destination type are having the same value as “Shipping Point” or “Delivery Point”.
Click the “Edit ” push button to modify and save the route details.
The system populates the following fields:

The login user ID of the person who has created the distance master. |
Created Date |
The date on which the “distance master was created. |
Last Modified By |
The person who last modified the distance master. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the distance master was last modified. |

The name of the person who created the distance master, modified the distance master, the date on which it was created , the date of modification is also populated in this page.
