Edit Carrier Transportation Details

This page allows you to edit the carrier transportation details and save the changes made. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Carrier Transportation Details” link at the bottom of the “Edit Carrier” page.

The “Edit Carrier Transportation Details” page appears.

The system displays the following details:

Status	The status of the carrier. There are three possible options “Active”, “Inactive” or “Cancelled”.
Carrier Code	The unique code identifying the carrier.

Carrier Name	The name of the carrier.
Transportation Mode	Use the drop-down list box to select the transportation mode Mandatory. The values are arranged in alphabetical order in the drop-down list box. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category” business component
Source Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the source type. The values in the drop-down list box are “Shipping Point” and “Delivery Area”. The drop-down list box displays the value “Shipping Point” on launch of the page. This Field cannot be Null.
Source Value	The code identifying the source from where the goods are shipped. (Alphanumeric, 20)

Destination Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the destination type. The values in the drop-down list box are “Shipping Point” and “Delivery Area”. The drop-down list box displays the value “Delivery Area” on launch of the page. This Field cannot be Null.
Destination Value	The code identifying the destination from where the goods are shipped. (Alphanumeric, 20).

Modify the following details in the “Transportation Mode Supported” multiline:

Route Id	The unique code identifying the route.
Transportation Time	The time taken to transport goods from the shipping point to the delivery area (Alphanumeric, 25).
Time Unit	Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measure of transportation time. The values in the drop-down list box are Hours, Days, Week, Fortnight and Month. The drop-down list box displays the value “Days” on launch of the page.
Default	Use the drop-down list box to select the default. The values in the drop-down list box are “Yes” and “NO”. The drop-down list box displays the value “No” on launch of the page.

Check the “Select” column of the multiline.
Click the “Save ” pushbutton to save the changes made.

The modifications are not saved if the carrier status is “Inactive”. The "Last Modified by" is populated with the login User Id and the "Last Modified date" is populated with the system date.

Edit Carrier Transportation Details – An overview

For the carrier code that is displayed by default on launch of the page, you can edit transportation details, which includes, shipping point, transportation mode, transportation time and time unit.
