Engineering Log Master

Select the “Engineering Log Master” activity under the “Infrastructural Maintenance” business component.
The “Engineering Log Master” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
To create engineering log master details
Enter the following details in the “Transaction Details” group box:

Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the mode of selection. The combo is loaded with the values “Create”, “Edit”, “Delete” and “View”. |

Transaction No |
The number identifying the transaction of the log sheet. |
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Transaction Details” group box:

Status |
The status of the transaction. |
Enter the following details in the “Transaction Details” group box:

Scheme Code / Description |
The code identifying the scheme or description of the scheme for which the log sheets to be entered. Mandatory. Press <Enter>. |
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Transaction Details” group box:

Scheme Name |
The name of the scheme. |
Enter the following details in the “Transaction Details” group box:

Shift |
Use the drop-down list box to select the shift for which the log sheet to be recorded. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “Categories Master” activity. |

Date |
The date on which the log sheet is recorded. |
|
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the log sheet. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “Categories Master” activity. |
Note: Ensure that the data for any date and shift combination is not skipped.
Enter the following details in the “Deployment Details” multiline:

Category |
The category of the log sheet. |

Sub Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sub category of the log sheet. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “Categories Master” activity. |

Remarks |
Any remarks or additional information regarding the engineering log master details. |
Note: At lease one row should be selected in the multiline.
Click the “Maintain” button to save (create/modify) the engineering log master details.
On save, the system generates a new transaction number and the status is updated as “Fresh”.
Click the “Freeze” button to freeze the engineering log master details.
On freeze, the system changes the status from “Fresh” to “Frozen”. Ensure that no modification is allowed for transaction once it is frozen.
To modify the engineering log master details
Choose the “Edit” option from the Mode.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Scheme Code / Description |
The code identifying the scheme or description of the scheme for which the log sheets to be entered. Mandatory. Press <Enter>. |

Transaction No |
The number identifying the transaction of the log sheet. Mandatory. Press <Enter>. |
The system displays the corresponding details of the scheme in the header and in the tabs. You can modify the required fields.
Click the “Maintain” button to save (create/modify) the engineering log master details.
Click the “Freeze” button to freeze the engineering log master details.
On freeze, the system changes the status from “Fresh” to “Frozen”. Ensure that no modification is allowed for transaction once it is frozen.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the engineering log master details. |

Created Date |
The date on which the engineering log master details was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who modified the engineering log master details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the engineering log master details was last modified. |

Select the “Categories Master” link to record the categories master details.
Select the “Print” link to view the engineering log master details.
