Using On Line Help

This activity allows you to either hold the lease temporarily and/or release the lease that has been put to hold. You can enter the necessary fields in the search criteria to retrieve the lease details in the multiline. Only Leases in Active status can be held.  If a lease is put to hold, the reasons for holding the lease has to be specified. The status of the lease is updated from Active to “Hold”. On releasing, the status of the lease number is updated back to “Active”.

The “Hold/Release Lease” page appears.               

      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Lease No From

The starting number in the range of lease numbers from which the details are to be fetched for holding or releasing the lease.

Lease No To

The ending number in the range of lease numbers until which the details are to be fetched for holding or releasing the lease.

Lease Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the lease by which the lease details are to be fetched. The combo is loaded with options “Mall” and “Corporate”.

Lease Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the lease. The combo is loaded with the options defined for the Category – Lease Category in “Maintain Categories” activity.

Scheme Code

The code identifying the scheme by which the lease details are to be fetched.

Mall Name

The name of the mall by which the lease details are to be fetched.

Customer Code

The code identifying the customer by which the lease details are to be fetched.

Customer Name

The name of the customer by which the lease details are to be fetched.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the lease. The combo is loaded with options “Active” and “Hold”.

The system displays the following in the” Search Result” multiline:

Lease No

The number identifying the lease which is to be held or released.

Type

Indicates the type of lease. It could be “Mall” or “Corporate”.

Status

The status of the lease number.

Scheme Code

The scheme number of the lease.

Scheme Name

The name of the scheme.

Customer Code

The code identifying the customer who has taken the property on lease.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Reason Code

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reason for holding the lease. The combo is loaded with reason codes defined for the Category – Reason in “Maintain Categories” activity. Mandatory to hold a lease.

The system displays the following in the” Search Result” multiline:

Description

The description of the reason code.

Note: The status of the lease number changes from Active to Hold on holding the lease. On releasing the lease, the system updates the status back to Active.
