Create Carrier Capacity Master

This activity allows you to define the capacity of the carrier for transporting the goods. You can specify all the details regarding the dimension of the carrier like the size, number, volume, area, weight length, breadth, height and UOM.
Select the “Create Carrier Capacity Details” link at the bottom of the “Create Carrier” page.
The "Create Carrier Capacity Master " page appears.
Note: Carrier Capacity Master cannot be duplicated for the same carrier code
The system displays the following information :

Carrier Code |
The unique code identifying the carrier. |

Carrier Name |
The name of the carrier corresponding to the carrier code. |
Enter the following detail in the “Carrier Information” multiline :

Carrier Size |
Use the drop-down list box to select a carrier size. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category Masters” business component. |
The system displays the following information in the ”Carrier Information” multiline:

Description |
The textual description of the carrier. |
Enter the following detail in the “Carrier Information” multiline :

Number Of Carrier |
The number of the carriers.(Integer). |

Capacity In weight |
The capacity of the carrier in terms of weight, which it can hold. Mandatory. |

Weight UOM |
The unit of measurement of the weight (Alphanumeric, 10) Mandatory. |

Capacity In Volume |
The capacity of the carrier in terms of volume. Mandatory |

Volume UOM |
The unit of measurement of the volume (Alphanumeric, 10) Mandatory |
|
Capacity In Area |
The capacity of the carrier in terms of area. |
|
Area UOM |
The unit of measurement of the area (Alphanumeric, 10) Mandatory |
|
Length |
The length of the carrier.(Integer) |

Breadth |
The breadth of the carrier.(Integer) |

Height |
The height of the carrier.(Integer) |

Dimension UOM |
The dimension of the unit of measurement.(Alphanumeric, 10) |

Vessel Code |
The code identifying the vessel. |

Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the carrier capacity master.

The login user id of the person who has created the Carrier capacity master. |
