This page allows you to specify the details of the services that are required for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order.  Tell me more

The “Service Requirement” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

PM No.

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which service requirements must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available.

PM On

The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the service requirements that are already defined for the preventive maintenance, in the “Services” multiline:

Line No.

The line number indicating the service – variant combination.

Service Code

The service required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 45). Ensure that the service is already defined as an item of type “Service” with its source as “Sub-contract”, in “Item Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions, and is in “Active” status.

Service Variant

The variant of the service (Alphanumeric, 4). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the service code is defined with more than one variant. The variant must have been defined for the service in the “Item Administration” business component of “Ramco Corporate Solutions”.

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Service Description” field in the multiline.

Note: Ensure that you specify at least one service code in the multiline if you wish to save the service requirements for preventive maintenance.

The system displays the following field in the “Services” multiline:

Service Desc.

The description of the service.

BOM

The bill of material, which contains the details of materials required for the service (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure that the bill of material is already defined in the “Create Subcontract Bill Of Material” activity of the “Subcontract BOM” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the service (Alphanumeric, 10). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have entered an estimated quantity in the “Total Est. Qty.” field. Ensure that the unit of measurement is already defined in the “Create UOM” activity of the “UOM Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

Total Est. Qty.

The estimated number of services required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have specified a service code in the “Service Code” field. The quantity cannot be negative.

Est. Unit Cost

The unit rate of the service (Decimal). The cost cannot be negative.

Remarks

Any additional information about specifying the service for carrying out preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255).

Supervisor

The employee code of the supervisor, if the service is to be performed by the supplier under internal supervision (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the supervisor has already been defined as an employee in the “Employee Induction” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution and is in “Current” status.

Preferred Supplier

The supplier who should provide the service (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the supplier is already defined in the “Employee Information” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution and is in “Current” status.

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the name of the supplier in the “Name” field of the multiline.

Note: Ensure that the “Service Code – Service Variant – BOM – Preferred Supplier” combination is unique in the multiline.

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

Name

The name of the preferred supplier.

Note: The system updates the modified service details, adds new services, and deletes services that have been marked for deletion. It also fills in the “Service Description” and “Name” fields in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who defined the service requirements.

Created Date

The date and time on which the service requirements were defined.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the service requirements.

Last Modified Date

The date and time on which the service requirements were last modified.
