Select the “Service Requirement” link at the bottom of the ”Create PM Schedule” or “Edit PM Schedule” page.
The “Service Requirement” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which service requirements must be defined. |
The description of the schedule is displayed alongside. |

Enter the following fields in the “Services” multiline, to specify services for carrying out preventive maintenance:
Service Code |
The service required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 45). Ensure that the service is already defined as an item of type “Service” with its source as “Sub-contract”, in “Item Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions, and is in “Active” status. Service Variant |
The variant of the service (Alphanumeric, 4). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the service code is defined with more than one variant. The variant must have been defined for the service in the “Item Administration” business component of “Ramco Corporate Solutions”. |

Note: Ensure that you specify at least one service code in the multiline if you wish to save the service requirements for preventive maintenance.

The unit of measurement of the service (Alphanumeric, 10). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have entered an estimated quantity in the “Total Est. Qty.” field. Ensure that the unit of measurement is already defined in the “Create UOM” activity of the “UOM Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. Help facility available |

The estimated number of services required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have specified a service code in the “Service Code” field. The quantity cannot be negative. |

The unit rate of the service (Decimal). The cost cannot be negative. |
Remarks |
Any additional information about specifying the service for carrying out preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Supervisor |
The employee code of the supervisor, if the service is to be performed by the supplier under internal supervision (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the supervisor has already been defined as an employee in the “Employee Induction” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution and is in “Current” status. |
Preferred Supplier |
The supplier who should provide the service (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the supplier is already defined in the “Employee Information” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution and is in “Current” status. Help facility available |
Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the name of the supplier in the “Name” field of the multiline. |
Note: Ensure that the “Service Code – Service Variant – BOM – Preferred Supplier” combination is unique in the multiline.
The system displays the following field in the multiline:

The name of the preferred supplier. |
Check the box in the ”Select” column of the multiline, to select the services that you wish to delete from the preventive maintenance schedule.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected services from the preventive maintenance schedule.
Click the “Save” pushbutton to update the service details for the preventive maintenance schedule.
Note: The system updates the modified service details, adds new services, and deletes services that have been marked for deletion. It also fills in the “Service Description” and “Name” fields in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who defined the service requirements. |
Created Date |
The date and time on which the service requirements were defined. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the service requirements. |
Last Modified Date |
The date and time on which the service requirements were last modified. |
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Specify Issue List” link from the bottom of the page, to specify the items that are required for the service.
Select the “Specify Inclusion / Exclusion” link from the bottom of the page, to include the items that are required, or exclude items that are not required, for carrying out the service.
“Create Item” activity in the “Item Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. The service must have been created as an item of type “Service” and its source specified as “Sub-contract”.
Service Requirement – An overview
This page allows you to specify the details of the services that are required for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order. You can enter the following details of the service requirements:
The service code and its variant.
The bill of material which contains the details of items required for carrying out the service.
The unit of measurement of the service.
The estimated quantity of the service that is required for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order. For example, if insulation and cladding must be performed in the boiler, the quantity can be expressed as ‘20” and the unit of measure as “SqFt”.
The cost per unit of utilizing the service.
The supervisor who is incharge of the service.
The name of the supplier who provides the service.
