Selecting account rule for viewing

This page allows you to select an account code for viewing. You can search for the account based on the finance book to which the account has been mapped, the date range within which the account is active and the code identifying the account.

Select the “View Account Definition” link under the “Account Rule Definition” business component.

The “Select Account Rule” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Finance Book	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book to which the account has been mapped. All the finance books that has been defined for the company to which the login organization unit belongs, for which accounts have already been defined, will be available for selection. The system displays the first value of the list by default on launch of the page.
Date From	The starting date in the range of dates from which the account definition is effective (Date Format). The system retrieves the account definitions whose effective date is equal to or greater than the date specified here.
To	The ending date in the range of dates from which the account definition is effective (Date Format). The system retrieves the account definitions whose effective date is equal to or less than or equal to the date specified here.
Account Code	The code identifying the account whose account definition details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 32).

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Item Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the item account definition.
Select the “View Additional Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the additional account definition.
Select the “View Bank/Cash Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the bank / cash account definition.
Select the “View Sale Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the sale account definition.
Select the “View Consumption Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the consumption account definition.
Select the “View Sale TCD Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the sale TCD account definition.
Select the “View TCD Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the TCD account definition.
Select the “View Asset Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the asset account definition.
Select the “View Default Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the default account definition.
Select the “View Customer Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the customer account definition.
Select the “View Supplier Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the supplier account definition.
Select the “View Function Default” link at the bottom of the page to view the function default.
Select the “View Usage” link at the bottom of the page to view the usage details.
Select the “View Service Account Definition” link at the bottom of the page to view the service account definition details.
